The previous version of Make Do and Mend Online (MDM) worked as a directory for artists and crafts people to share their work. MDM realised that in order for their website to truly benefit them the focus needed to shift to their own skills and services. MDM sewing services throughout Cornwall for numerous purposes, from tailoring and alterations, to upholstery and furnishing, to large format canvas work for industrial, marine and agricultural sectors.

Baileys Country Store serve Cornwall with a range of products for the ideal country life. Whether you own a few household pets or run a large farm, Baileys are there to assist with your needs, whether it be feed for a dog or horse, tools for maintaining the farm, or coal for the fire. The design of the site reflects the natural rustic appeal of Cornwall, and demonstrates the vast range of products and services via categorised sections.
Loving the Garden
Joanne Wilson operates a fabulous landscape design service, covering all customer needs, whether domestic or commercial. From a simple plan provision to a fully managed landscape installation, Jo will deliver whatever is required with a large helping of her creativity. The site was designed and built at the same time the brand identity was developed.

Working closely with the client, we created the brand CrashBurn and a website that features all they have to offer. Such is the quality of their work and the strength of our relationship, they are a company I frequently work with and recommend to all clients.
SuperFast Cornwall
An exciting program for the southwest of the UK, as fibre-optic broadband is rolled out across Cornwall. I was privileged to be offered the opportunity to animate the existing logo. The animation was completed using illustrator and flash, output to a HD standard.

An internationally renowned model and photographer, Alex Beer works mainly from London, but is often on set across Europe and beyond. As with all artists websites the emphasis of the site must be on their work, therefore a minimialist design with neat typography is required.

Jason is critically acclaimed and a widely respected artist. Viewers of his work instantly appreciate his unique and refreshing approach to what has become an oft-used topic – the cornish landscape. A minimal approach was adopted for the website to simply let the quality of his artistry shine.

Keep your eyes peeled for Nick Beer, the triathlete will be competing across the UK over the coming year with a view to the upcoming olympics. The site showcases Nick in competition and out of competition as a marketing asset.

Penryn Football Development Club
I was asked to develop a site for Penryn School’s new football academy. Once again I brought in CrashBurnMedia for excellent photography and film. The site was produced to appeal to a young audience along with a relevant club identity, the client is also able to update the site themselves.
Eskimix
This very cool froyo bar situated in the heart of New York, approached me to develop them a flash based website. This enabled us to animate the existing characters and engage with a younger target audience. The site also integrates with a blog which they can update.
